City of Imperial Named #1 Safest City in California

National Council for Home Safety and Security

The City of Imperial has been named the #1 Safest City in the State of California by the National Council for Home Safety and Security. Imperial Police Department was notified, Monday, February 13th of the City's ranking.



In an email notification addressed to the Chief of Police Miguel Colon, Robyn Avery Media Relations Manager for the National Council for Home Safety and Secuity stated, "With national crime rates on the rise, we feel that it’s increasingly important for residents to feel proud of where they live and that cities like yours should be recognized. We hope that you'll share this good news with them and proudly display the badge on your website and/or wherever you feel appropriate." The National Council for Home Safety and Security organization is made up of companies and individuals in the home safety and security industries. Their goal is to further education and public knowledge about Home Security, Home Safety, Child Safety, and Senior Safety at Home.
