The City of Imperial would like to advise the public that beginning January 16, 2018 Myrtle Road, south of Aten Blvd, will be closed for construction. The closure is due to the Aten Sidewalk Phase 1 project. The goal of the project is to improve and beautify the area. The project is expected to last for three weeks. Residents and business owners will have access to Myrtle road from La Brucherie Avenue, Treshill and Wall Road(s). This section of Myrtle Road is scheduled to re-open February 6, 2018.

Road Work Ahead

IMPERIAL, CA: The City of Imperial has several road/pavement improvement projects scheduled to begin this week starting tomorrow, November 29, 2017. Drivers can expect delays in the following areas:

Aten Blvd: Vilore Way to Austin Road: November 29-December 8, 2017, pavement improvements;

Dogwood Road: Aten Blvd to South City Limit (Treshill Canal) Thursday November 30 – December 8, 2017, pavement improvements;

Planning Commission Applications Now Open

NOTICE OF PENDING APPOINTMENT OF PLANNING COMMISSIONERS

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the term of 2 Planning Commissioners has expired for the city of Imperial.
 
The City Council intends to make appointments for the two seats to the Planning Commission during its meeting of December 6, 2017.  The term is for four (4) years.
